Peter Baker is the Chief White House correspondent for the New York Times and a contributing writer for the New York Times Magazine. He has covered three presidents for the Times and the Washington Post, winning the Gerald R. Ford Prize for Distinguished Reporting on the Presidency and the Aldo Beckman Memorial Award for White House coverage. He is the author of the New York Times bestseller The Breach: Inside the Impeachment and Trial of William Jefferson Clinton, and, with his wife, Susan Glasser, of Kremlin Rising: Vladimir Putin’s Russia and the End of Revolution. He is a regular panelist on Washington Week on PBS and was a fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. He and Glasser live in Washington with their son, Theodore.
